- Board acknowledged availability issues due to new COVID-19 lockdown measures.
- Board approved a transition to quarterly meetings instead of bimonthly.

- Membership drive ongoing; new applications being processed.
- COVID-19 provider feedback letter being revised to reflect new restrictions.
- NAPB newsletter created but awaiting accessibility updates before release.
- Diagnosis:
- Progress made in reducing waiting times for under-18s.
- Draft clinical review of adult autism services underway.
- Work on Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA) definition ongoing.
- Workforce Development:
- E-learning training now live; available to the public via the independent website.
- In-person trainer procurement under review.
- Engagement:
- Safeguarding & Hoarding Initiatives:
- Updated “Tricky Friends” safeguarding video approved for release.
- Board will receive future updates on safeguarding issues, particularly Locked Provision cases.
- Collaboration with Sussex University on a self-neglect research project ongoing.
- NAPB Website & Communication:
- New independent website approved for launch.
- Board committed to keeping content updated to ensure continued independence from NCC.
- Plan to have other websites, such as Norfolk Community Directory, link to the new site.
- Long-Term Vision for the Partnership:
- New Vision & Long-Term Plan Working Group established to develop the future structure of the Board.
- All current Working Group Leads, plus Jared Carpenter and Trevor Key, volunteered to join.
- Board members unable to attend given opportunity to join later.
- Other Key Announcements:
- Board extended thanks to Sue Medley (NSFT) for her contributions, particularly in training & accessibility.
Next Steps:
- Launch NAPB website and maintain updated content.
- Advance PDA definition and clinical review for adult autism services.
- Develop research proposal on autism & self-neglect with Sussex University.
- Vision & Long-Term Plan Working Group to report findings in the next Board meeting.
